The good news is my kids are taking an interest
My 8 year old daughter either wants my B or a convertible VW Bug
My 5 year old son has laid claim to my 67 Sprite
Both are good gofors. They can fetch tools and beer quite well, but aren't keen
on getting their hands dirty.
They're getting small size mechanic's gloves for Christmas

My wife is the Station Wagon type herself. She can't even drive my
Midget comfortably (believe it or not, she's too small). But that
didn't stop her for turning to me, at the sight of an MG ZB Magnette,
and saying "If I ever wanted an MG, it'd be one of these."
About 5 years later, we bought one. It's hers, and we work on it
together (she's learning, and I'm learning to teach).
In short, don't limit your thinking...
