My '74 sits a tad high in the front (even after the front suspension
rebuild), the VicBrit catalog says this kit lowers it 1/2 inch - is that
what you found?  It's not clear to me how it works - 8 bolts?  Does it
compromise ride quality, handling or safety?

Yeah I did but uninstalled it so I didn't wreck my exhaust system every time
I ran
over a crush proof cigarette box.
