Wow I just replaced my old HOWLING 4.22 diff with a
nice quiet 3.9. Much more enjoyable (my '66 had been
upgraded to a 1275 by PO). It feels quicker because I
can spend more time accelerating and less time
shifting. And then there is not having to listen to
that howling when you get above 35 mph...
