I believe that in principle you are correct, but technically, the third
would be radiant (which can be controlled by reflection).

In my parents house when I was growing up we had a woodstove that was about
a foot and a half away from our piano. My dad took a piece of pegboard and
covered it with regular old aluminum foil, shiniest side toward the
woodstove. Even with the woodstove fully cranking  the space between the
pegboard and the piano never got more than lukewarm.
