I use 3M Weatherstripping Adhesive (aka yellow elephant snot) to glue the
gasket to the rocker (valve) cover. This at least ensures the seal between the
gasket and the cover is good and that the gasket won't slip around. I don't
use anything between the gasket and the top of the block.
