Hey we all have these problems. I have the same kind of ghost of Lucas
haunting my water temp gauge.
I had the headlights go out on me, while driving home in the TR4A one night
after a party at about 2 AM. Had to go about 10 miles on a highway, and three
miles on dirt roads. The only light working was the right turn signal. So if
I blinked in sync, I make out the side markers. Then I see a car approaching
fromt he rear. First I hope it is cop,. so he will drive me home. No such
luck, the car looks like it is going to pass. So I gun up the engine and get
on this guy's tail lights. The jerk thinks I am either racing or planing on
raping his wife. He speeds up. Now I am going what feels like 80, without any
lights. Gets me to my exit, now time to tell the wife to open up her eyes
again, I want her to point the flashlight for the last 3 miles home.
We made it. She was not a happy camper.
Point is we deal with with this stuff. If this guy wants leg room, tell him
to fly business class.
