According to the 1980 Datsun factory service manual, use API GL-4 gear oil. In
temps of 100 degrees F and below use 80W-90 wt.  For temps between
100F down to 30F use 90 wt.  For 50F to over 100 degrees F it is recommended to
use 140 wt.  Probably cut your mileage down with that last one. ;^)
