Dave, I work in a cabinet factory, and all of our 4 x 8 sheet stock comes in
with
a "cover sheet" top and bottom. We toss ours in the garbage, you may want to see
if you have a shop in your area that does the same. If you take them away for
free, then you both will be more the happier for it.
