need a little help

I am in the process of removing my steering column on a '73 ewa.
It is now loose and dangling but I cant figure out how to disconnect the
ignition...the wires seem to be directly soldered and the ign unit itself
seems to have some sort of security bolts with no heads attaching the 2
halves together.

Any help out there?
