Subject: Newbie to Spridget List

Hi,
Rather that remain in the lurk mode, I just want to introduce myself to the
list as I have just purchased a very ROUGH, '59 Bugeye. I am currently a
member of the Triumph List which has been a great help during the restoration
of my '59 TR3A over the last four years.
The bugeye should be delivered this Saturday, at which time I will start to
photograph, disassemble and catalog parts for future
restoration/re-assembly/junk pile. Any words of wisdom on what pitfalls I
may expect would be greatly appreciated. Also what publications would be
most helpful in the restoration process?
I haven't decided whether to restore to original specs (as I did with my
TR3A) or to upgrade to later engine, discs, ribbed tranny, etc. What I find
during the disassembly will probably determine how I will proceed.
Well, that's it until the Bugeye arrives.
