Those of you that have 1275 hi-po or racing motors (or
will admit to it, Gary), what is your experience with
the early 12CC castings? What, if anything, have you
done with the scooped out sections above the center
main? I am assuming an otherwise stout bottom end
with a standard stroke tuftrided or nitrided crank
that has been radiused, center main strap, etc. I
know the A+ is the best block for serious stuff, but
how about the 12CC for a motor that will likely see
most of its life well below 8000 RPM?
