Gee, I am feeling positively guilty here. My SO loves my Midgets. She likes
to help me work on them, she loves driving them and she runs a clutch at
least as well as I do -- yes, she takes her foot completely off the clutch
pedal and yes, she puts the car in neutral and takes her foot off of the
clutch while waiting at red lights. We participate in the Healey Club annual
rally that is part of the British car show here in Chicagoland. A couple
years ago we figured out that it works better if she drives and I navigate.
She is still trying to get the hang of auto-crossing, but then so am I ;-)
It should be better with this year's car....
