What nosy people! :^)

Well the car is a '74 Midget, black (originally green). Chrome bumpers
and all that fine stuff.
Rust is minimal to non existant, runs quite well, all neat and tidy
under the hood, etc.
In rather good shape due to the meticulous mechanical nature of the
previous owner, who
seemed to be rather sad at watching it drive away. However I assured
him it would have
a good dry home with even a small rug to park on. It's like with the
animals: if they promise
not to leak on it, they get a rug to sleep on.

So far I have only had one "chance" to dodge a large SUV backing out
into me. Was at a
stop light and the beast kept backing up, I'd blow my horn (alot), it
would stop as if confused,
then back up some more, and I my horn would hit, etc. Luckily the light
changed and I was able
to scoot out of the way.

I get all my work jollies at a reserach facility at Oregon State
University run by the charmingly
named "Dr. Cherrie Pancake" (that's pronounced SHERRY, not CHERRY).
She keeps
us entertained and well funded, and is good humored about her name (as
one would have
to be). At night I am a computer game developer (Day of Defeat for
Half-Life). It helps
pay the bills and buy little goodes for "Baby" (as my wife calls the
MG). However having
just got my W2s and 1099s from contracting, I think the tax persons are
now the priority
people.
