of warning to remind you that you may have "accidentally" exceeded the posted
speed limit ;-). Of course, you said "radar detector". Different story if
they're using laser. Any of the laser detectors on the market (including V1)
will give you a microsecond warning that it's time to put on your right turn
signal, pull over, and locate your license and registration for the nice
officer who will soon be writing you a ticket. AFAIK the only effective
countermeasure for laser is a laser jammer. You're probably looking at
$1,000 to get into a V1 and a laser jammer. Like they say, speed costs
money. How fast do you want to go? BTW, check your local laws, detectors
and jammers are illegal in some areas.
