On the small chassis Triumphs (Spits, Heralds, etc.) the knurl diameter
of the 3/8 stud is the same as the 7/16 TR6 stud, so one can convert a
Spit by knocking out the small ones and just putting in the TR6 ones.
What I can't remember at the moment is whether the front or rear TR6
studs can be used. One has a flat head, one has a chamfer on it.
Anyway, it might be that TR6 studs will work for Midgets as well.
