well now yer into rocket science as far as wheels are concened. there are
difrent tapers on lug bolts and wheels. not too many diferent choices but
if you mistakenly mess up you are going to end up in a very uncomfortable
situation ! a stud flexing and breaking or improper amount of contact area
where nut and rim meet allowing either nut to bottom out through the
hole(not tight enough:loose wheels) or rim pulling over the nut!
unfortunatly i can not tell you whatcha got ! but i'd rather generically
warn you and have you investigate the possibility to find nothing wrong than
find out something wrong has transpired the hard way. remember the wheel's
lug bolts / nuts secure themselves by an interference fit in the taper of
the nut to the rim contact area! alloy wheels requre torquing more than
steel wheels due to the heat cycling of the alloy wheel expanding and
contracting! over torquing alloys can lead to stud failure as the alloy
wheel can expand from heat enough to literally stretch a wheel stud causing
a stud to shear with the nut on it!
did ya ever wonder how you see wheel lugs along the highway with bits of
stud stuck in them? stuff to ponder while customizing yer "ride".

chuck.
been there...saw someone else break that!
