Geeeze....

Sports & Classics used a guy out there
many years ago....maybe the same nerd.

First "professional" rebuilt popped out
of first and had nothing to keep you
from possibly "rubbing" reverse as
you went from 1st to 2nd (missing spring?).

When we finally got it back after sending
it back to him to be "fixed", he claimed
more miles on the box than were documented, tried to charge for a new
laygear, all of which turned out to be
irrelevant 'cause the box could not be
shifted in ANY event. It was bound up
tight! Worked out a new deal for a
box rebuilt by another firm...no further
problems.

Within the week, Sports & Classics
cancelled their contract with this
"California Connection". He would
not make good on the "bound up" box.

Sports & Classics couldn't believe what
the found inside when they opened it
up in terms of "quality". Took out what
the could sell "used" and threw the
rest away!
