Replacement bumpers and grilles seem to have some of the most quality
complaints of all repro parts. The big healey bumpers are notoriously bad.
If you are looking for quality, hang in there until you can find originals
suitable for rechroming.

I washed the chrome right off my bumper with a garden hose while washing
the Bugeye.
But I got my bumper from the 4 letter word in parts business.
That was back in 1988, the chrome peeled off in 1989.
Maybe they improved but I doubt it.
