either that, or buy the repros for the straightness of the component then
have them stripped of their chrome and have them show chromed!  that would
aleviate evry thing nasty!  no pitted dented cores to be fixed and fudged
and new cores that not only have fresh undamaged faces but pit free rears
too!   in the search for a really nice finished product, chrome and rubber
are the "icing on the cake".  it's where about 75% of the owners get "cheap"
and the cars show that in the end !  ya got the body done the paint shines
and evry bit of final trim is sub standard!  did ya ever notice that a
marginal car with super details car out show a superior car with poor
details?   happens all the time!  so if you think rechroming brand new
reproduction bumpers is a very odd expensive thought?  not so!  probably the
only real solution!  remember 99% of any NOS that remains is probably shelf
worn by now and would require rechroming in order to look nice any way!
chrome may not get ya home, but it does make ya look good !
