Caliper rebuild question - Solution!

Many thanks to all who responded. Paul A. gets the prize for the most workable 
solution with the equipment I have on hand. See below. 

A few of you mentioned the grease gun. While I believe it'd work well (the 
grease would lube the piston allowing it to slide out easily), unfortunately 
without a parts washer I'd end up with calipers full of grease and no easy way 
to clean 'em! :)

Hi Chris,

I just use the stuff in my circulating degreaser, which is Stoddard Solvent.  I 
suspect that paint thinner would work about as well.  Apparently what happens 
is it gets to the dust seal and lubes it enough so
it will get loose.  Beware of flying pistons, though!!!  They can really shoot 
with air pressure behind them!!!
