Take the whole car. You will be amazed at what bits you will take off of 
it while doing any engine/brake swaps.
You can also sell/trade all the other parts.
For the brake conversion, you will have everything you need.
Just buy new rotors, pads, and brake hoses, don't even think about using 
the old hoses. It may have new rotors and pads on it too.

The easiest way to do the conversion is to remove the whole front end.
Take the A arms off the chassis and (if in good condition) bolt it to 
the Bugeye with new bushings. You now have disc brakes.
