I have been using a PerTronix for years
however, used to use only Cranes.
If I recall correctly, the "700" is not
compatible with some coils. Could I be
wrong? Sure....it's been years.
But, somewhere "back there", I recall the
Lucas Sport Coil being a "no, no" for
the "700". And for the life of me I can't
remember why but it may have had
something to do with "internal/external"
resistance.
Some one with current Crane experience
(or maybe current literature?), please
tell me I am wrong!!
