Hello bill,

       same problem here, the key turns in the lock, i hear the snick
       inside, the latch might get harder to turn, but it STILL opens.
       same with the door locks.  i can feel something moving, but
       they don't work...... my solution is not to carry anything of
       value in the car... YMMV
