Phil,

I have a 3200lb gas powered unit. With the finest (narrowest) tip - it
will etch seasoned concrete about 1/8 inch deep in a single quick pass.
When I clean engines, transmissions and such, I put the medium or wide
tip on and slow the engine to almost an idle. There's usually nothing
left on the cleaned surfaces - including paint.

I presure washed a Midget body a couple of weeks ago and found all the
places the PO had put body putty.......there's also no rust left on the
car. There's a couple of holes where the rust used to be.......but no
rust ;)

Before I bought my current unit, I had a small Sears 1750lb electric
unit. It did well for engines, transmissions, rears and other assorted
greasy parts. It just took a little longer.
