Door Locks

I delivered the trunk lock and the glove box lock to the local lock smith
and he says he cannot get the blanks and cannot take the lock apart to key
it anyway.  Do I need to look somewhere else?  Are the blanks in the
catalogs for ignition and doors?  Since I do not have any keys except the
ignition I am at their mercy.
