I have a couple sets of powdercoated brums on 2 different Sprites.
I never thought about the heat, they still look and work OK and they 
have'nt cracked.
I know drums and rotors can take much higher temps. 400* doesn't turn 
them cherry red like riding around with the hand brake on.
