Yes there is an add-on free spell checker for Outlook. Go to
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952
and download a free copy of the program. I've been using it without any
problems. The program's dictionary program is dumb/limited but you can teach
it new words/abbreviations with one click.
