Yup, it takes some fudging but I have a 2 speed 70 something wiper motor 
in my Bugeye and the A40. Both were single speed 2 arm wipers at one 
point, both using a 3 arm motor but with only 2 arms. You can make the 
rack tubes out of 1/4" copper tubing or use a combo of what you have and 
what comes from a 69. If the 68 motor mounts under the fender like a 69, 
then it will be a direct replacement.
