New LBC in the family

My son just informed me he bought a Mini. I haven't seen it yet and it 
needs some work. He says the paint just needs a buffing but it's missing 
a door and the drivetrain.
So, does anybody have a handle on a Mini drivetrain? Prefer 1275 of 
course with in driving distance of NJ.
Now what does that mean for his 58 Bugeye project?
I don't want another project.
Anybody want an early 58 project car? Cheap or trade for Mini parts ;)
