Simon,
remove the circlips.
clean any residual grot from the recesses in the yolk where the bearing caps
fit.  Mark the yolk and spider so that you can reassemble in the same
relative positions so you don't loose the original balance.
Then either:
As described in the manual, tap the edge of the yolk and the bearing cap is
supposed to rise magically out of its locating housing.
Or:
Using a thin needle punch from the inside, tap the bearing cap out of its
housing.  It will probably disintegrate in the process, but then you are
fitting new ones anyway, else why dismantle it?
