"Why" you ask???

CYRILLE!!!!! You just bought two rebuilds
and they both failed in no time!!!!!

OK....let's talk....:)

This goes back to Paul A.'s response to your original post.

Either keep taking 'em back and
getting replacements under the warranty
'til you get a "good" one, or
spend the bucks and buy factory new.

Good rebuilds are difficult to find. Most
"rebuilders" simply don't do a good job.

Same problems I used to run into with
"rebuilt" Armstrong Lever Shocks ('til
Peter C. came along)...lousy quality
work so they wouldn't last worth a
damn. You either paid the going price
(rather high) for new ones or said the
hell with it and converted to a Wheelrite
tube shock kit and be done with levers
forever. :)
