But you can remove the windshield without removing the dash, it jusy more of a PITA but do-able. Swivel socket helps. The frame comes apart with some real short (usually corroded) screws. If they start to give you a headache, stick an old philips screwdriver in the slot of the screw and heat the shaft of the screwdriver with a torch.
