Your valve guides are probably a little worn. Going downhill with the
throttle closed creates high manifold vacuum, which is enough to suck
oil down the valve and into the cylinder to be burned.

You can fit valve stem seals to help. I'm not sure if they were a
factory item, but I seem to remember that certain Ford ones will fit.
Hopefully someone will chime in with more specific info.
