If the float is set correctly, try using a washer under the float seat.
This will shim it down just a bit and may stop your leak.
Maybe a rubber "O" ring to replace the top bolt gasket too. Hey, it 
can't hurt.
.20 cent fix instead of a few hundred for a rebuilt set.
I rebuilt the carbs on my Healey, they work great now.
