Nope....

never drove one, Bob. But when flying
for a UPS contract carrier, "jumpseated" 
(including double tandems) alongside the driver back and forth from
Kennedy airport
from the UPS facility in Norwalk. 

As long as they had a load (they always
did), I never felt safer, despite whatever
road conditions we met. And I can agree
with David that the only thing wrong with
these "big truck" drivers is they have to 
share the road with "civilian" half-wits
who haven't the slightest idea how to 
drive in terms of sharing the road with
18 wheelers in terms of staying the hell
out of their way.
