Damn good point, Chris. Same applies
to 1275 with respect to same type carb
as a "replacement" for the SU's.
The SU's are not only more simple and
user-friendly than the "fixed venturi"
types, but are the best going for low and
mid-range torque, as they "vary" themselves to individual engine
"health"
with respect to normal wear and tear over time.
