Hi Cyrille,

I wouldn't get too worked up over the absolute number as it is certainly relative. It was a lot lower for me than I expected as well. I don't know how accurate it is, but it main value is in comparison. Is it higher now than before I put on the whatever, or did it go up with the timing changed to xyz degrees?

As for the weight of the car, I used a scale at the local rock yard. Again, accuracy is not guaranteed. I'm anxious to re-run the numbers now that I've made some timing changes and swapped out the oily clutch.

Does anyone have a clever way to get an accurate weight of a loaded spridget?

Glen Byrns

Hello,

Well, I did a couple of run and I got a disappointing result of 45HP.
Taking into account a 30% lost through the drive train, this gives 64HP
at the flywheel!
I do not know why it is so low... Anyone has any idea of what I should
try to get it up? I have a Webber carburettor on a completely stock
un-rebuild engine...

I will try to get a couple of more runs after some carb tweaking next
Saturday morning and then I will send the G-Teck to Mike
Mjsprite@aol.com (please send me your mail address privately).

Glen, can you please help complete that data for your car? Also, can you
tell me how in hell you managed to get the car so light?
