The Engine Number is 8G150-RS54795, and on top is a 12G295 head. The bores match that of a standard 1098cc BMC (it has the familiar "1100" tag riveted on the side), and it has 2" mains like a "10CC" motor.
As others have said, its a replacement motor, glad to know someone else has the same motor as I have.

Not sure under what circumstances they replaced the motors and not sure why they did not stay the same numerical model.
