Where can I get a bunch of JAP electrics for a Healey tank?
Everything with the Lucas name on it has turned to crap.
Tonight only 1 high beam worked. I fixed it. So now the horn doesn't work.
The other night I replaced the Lucas overdrive relay with something from
a FORD and it worked fine for almost 24 hours. Then after many more
hours of WTF, I found the LUCAS dash switch was shot. Replaced it only
to have the LUCAS solenoid stop working.
Did I mention when I turn on the right signal, both fronts flash?
I know what the problem is, but if I touch it, the high beams will quit
again.
So why am I complaining to THIS list?
Because the Healey list would only tell me WHERE to take the tractor
to have it repaired, or to buy one of the lister's tech tip books. I got
off that list even though the reading was good for serious laughs, it
had no redeeming technical material.
Besides, you guys listen :)
I hope I can have everything working the day it goes up for sale.
I guess the next time I want to go for an ejoyable drive in a nice car,
I'll take my Sprite.
Of course I could take my new Ford Camry too but it's so damn ugly :(
