I've run Mobil 1 0/50 Synthetic in Spridget gearboxes and if my Spridget had 
an original fit box rather than the special 5 speed in it now (which uses 
synthetic gear oil) I'd run Mobil 15/50 (not being able to get 0/50 anymore).

Synthetic oil is ok for everything apart from OVERDRIVE UNITS which you must 
never use (eg 1500 Midget with o/d box).
