So what wire did you hook up to? I found a white/green stripe wire in
my console harness that's only live with the ignition on. Good enough,
but I didn't see one that was live in the accessory position.

Mine does! Nice little accessory position that powers the radio, the
cigar
lighter, and the heater fan. No idea why the heater fan, but there you
go.
