The 75s and early 76s had a manual choke. When I had my 78 I had trouble with 
the auto choke so I bought a conversion kit from JustEd. Shortly after that I 
got a 76 for parts and found the manual choke carb! Coulda saved some $$$ if I 
woulda waited a little longer... See what happens when you break ranks with the 
"we tight club"?

I sold the carb on ebay and got some of my expense back though.
