Hi everyone,
My Midget 1500 just won't go into 1st hear <sic). This only started
yesterday,
when, all of a sudden, I was only ablt <sic> to drive forward (and get home) by
forcing the stick into place in each gear. Now, I can't even engage first
gear, only reverse.
What could be some causes for this, and what compenents <sic> on the car
can I
check out? The clutch kit is relatively new, and I'm pretty sure it was
installed in the correct direction.

Sounds like the Washers of Thrust may be roosting in your oil pan.
Check for crankshaft end play.
