He made stout steel subframes and they were to be bolted/welded in 
solid. Sort of low like a TR3 but they are too square looking.
And the more I think about jumping over the *door* the more I see dents 
and scratches on it. And I ain't no spring chicken anymore either ;)
I do have some spare doors and might butcher one up a bit to keep with 
his lower door look but I'll make it open.
If I keep what he made, I have to put some curves on it. It needs a 
swoop at least on the front side.

I have to squirt the A40 since it's all masked off and ready for paint 
before I bring that thing home from my son's garage.
The fiberglass bonnet must have come from loosers circle because it 
needs serious work too. I had one of those bonnets once, it was garbage 
new in the crate. This one looks very similar with bellys and ripples 
all over it. So I do have some body work to do but I/m getting good at 
it. This project will test those skills that's for sure.

At least I painted the engine block and head Paul A's Morris green.
Now to order some parts for the engine.
