Sticking my neck out I think that Concours is the best consensus of  
how the cars were built or suppose to be built from the documentation  
available.  The reality is that there was considerable variation in  
details as well as the colors.

In 1960 I saw a new straight from the factory white Jag saloon and no  
two panels were the same shade of white,  so much for color control.
