Sorry Dave, but when new, and to this day, my Frogeye had/has a flat
gray on the boot floor, and gloss black on the ceiling of the boot. The
gray is similar to the color of the composition material used for the
interior panels of the boot. The original primer was/is a good old red
oxide. But, that's as it was when I bought it in 1960.

Incidently, Ben, while much of the engine compartment was painted the
body color, and the radiator and suspension painted black, the heater,
pedal box, and passender side blanking plate were also black.

When it comes to your fan blades, you have a choice. Most people will
tell you they were yellow, and indeed, my 1958's fan blades were
yellow. However, the 1960 (and some friends who bought from the same
dealer at the same time) had red fan blades.

By the way, Dave, that is one beautiful car you have! Brings back
memories of mine when new! Now, after 45 years, it is going to get its
first new paint job! For all the fun it has brought me, it deserves it!
