After stumbling onto a dumpster full of vinyl albums, I bought a new 
turntable and just hooked it to the CD port on my amp.
Works fine.
I only own 3 CDs and I have bought 3 CD players in as many years.
All chinese and they play 1 CD one time and never work again.
