Hi all,
Last summer I got a 1959 Sprite - BRG, 948, wire
wheels (painted red!?!?!), front discs, weak 2nd gear
synchros, no top or side curtains. Of course I didn't
drive it much in the winter, but had it out a couple
of days in the past few weekends. Last Saturday I
noticed the brakes were low-ish, as they had been all
winter, but responded to pumping. On Sunday they were
very low, and the clutch wasn't fully disengaging. I
suspect low fluid in the master cylinder (can't get to
the car until later, when I'll confirm). What's the
diagnotic process to determine what the problem is?
Or will the master cylinder just weep a little, and I
just need to keep up with it?
Thanks,
Pete Boser
