Well, the difference is, some guys rarely lift heavy stuff, and then are
surprised when they try to, and something goes awry. I've been lifting heavy
stuff fairly regularly since about 1976 I took a year off from college and
worked in a feed mill, where I personally lifted about 14 tons a day, in 100
lb bags.

The only back related issues I've had is more hip/pelvis stuff. When that
goes out, my belly button is 1" off center, and one leg is shorter than the
other. My pelvis gets twisted.

I attribute that to way too many years early in my career driving 300 miles
a day, and then many years carrying luggage at airports. I found my driving
position was making things out of whack, and also, I usually carried luggage
with my right arm. Now that I'm conscious of how I sit when I drive, and
make sure my left arm carries stuff as often as my right, I've had far fewer
issues.

You know, Larry, one of the greatest pleasures in life is sharing. Is
there ANY way we can share our backs with Flounder? Hey, we can even
open it up to others on the list who want to show their generosity, too.
