My neighbor has a few in his yard and has had one for sale on Ebay for
about the same money although it is somewhat chopped up for use as a golf
cart. Some Crosleys used the oven brazed engines. As I understand it, the
block is made up from "light" gauge metal shapes and then oven brazed into
one lump. (WST could lift these engines with his pinky finger.) This is
probably where the restaurant people got the idea for oven brazing
chickens. The neighbor sells dress up parts for Crosley engines, decals,
and other Crosley stuff on Ebay. His wife passed away a year ago - this is
hobby helps him handle the loneliness.
